Their ugly tactics have been exposed, but I’m afraid that hasn’t stopped the statist IRS from targeting groups who dare to stand up for limited government and our U.S. Constitution.
Their goal remains to shut up and shut down organizations like C4L who dare to criticize radical assaults on our freedom launched by Big Government apologists in BOTH parties.
In order to best prepare for a possible government witch hunt from President Obama’s IRS and/or FEC, I have advised Campaign for Liberty to ask all of its supporters to positively assert they support the organization.

I’m facing decisions right now unlike any other I’ve ever had to make.
I’ve never seen the statists in Washington, D.C. more out-of-touch — or more determined to GUT every last shred of American liberty. And I’m more afraid for the future of our Republic than ever.

Even before hearing that news, I was becoming more and more worried C4L would become the target of a massive, expensive Obama IRS or FEC witch hunt.
After all, no other organization in Washington, D.C. FIGHTS Big Government schemes pushed by members of BOTH parties as fiercely as C4L does.
And few can claim with a straight face to be nearly as effective.
After all, thanks to the support of good folks like you, C4L went from not even existing on paper a little over five years ago to forcing Dr. Paul’s Audit the Fed bill through the House with a bipartisan three-fourths majority!
Remember, the Federal Reserve was a subject that had previously been “off limits” to political discussion for nearly 100 years!
And with so many new allies in Congress — such as Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI), Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY), Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), as well as dozens more serving in state legislatures around the country – it’s clear to everyone our R3VOLUTION is alive and well.
Campaign for Liberty is the organization leading the way.
Needless to say, that makes C4L a big, fat target for statists in BOTH parties.
Our attorneys have made it clear that defending C4L against any legal assaults or possible retaliation President Obama’s goons throw our way will be easier if as many C4L supporters as possible go on record in support of our organization’s major initiatives.

The good news is that I believe Audit the Fed is ready to pass again in the U.S. House in the new Congress, after passing in 2012 and getting over 300 House votes and 30 Senate cosponsors.
But it’s absolutely vital you and I push ahead on this critical reform, as well as line up to do battle in the fight over a potential new Fed Chairman.
Ben Bernanke’s bankster pals, who line their pockets looting American wealth, would love nothing more than to keep Audit the Fed from even reaching the U.S. Senate.

I’m afraid George Orwell’s 1984 is no longer a scary warning about an all-powerful Big Brother police state. It’s become the instruction manual for our ever-growing National “Security” State.
The recent NSA scandal finally exposed that our federal government routinely collects BILLIONS of emails and phone calls from American citizens every day.
This was AFTER National Intelligence Director James Clapper LIED before Congress, saying they were doing nothing of the sort.
Today, the most technologically advanced police state in world history is being built right before our eyes.
Outrageous, full-frontal assaults on our constitutional rights that were unthinkable just a few years ago are now commonplace, including:
*** Unmanned government spy drones flying over American cities;
*** The claimed “authority” of our federal government to indefinitely detain and even assassinate American citizens without trial;
*** Government agencies tracking the location and movement of virtually every car in America through a vast network of automated scanners.
Now you and I are seeing even MORE massive new assaults.
The Internet remains a top target of government control through schemes such as SOPA, CISPA, and the National Internet Tax Mandate.
And I haven’t even mentioned the horrific National ID database included within the so-called “Immigration Reform” bill that’s before the U.S. House for consideration as I write this.
This national database could ultimately include all kinds of information about American citizens — like gun ownership records, health records, purchasing habits, and religious beliefs.
So if you believe C4L should make stopping these Big Government schemes — and FIGHTING to repeal our federal government’s all-out rush to become an American police state — its top priority, please choose “OPTION #2: DEFEND CIVIL LIBERTIES” on your Membership Directive.
But before you do, think about all that’s at stake in 2014.
After all, I haven’t even mentioned ObamaCare yet, which is now threatening to throw our country back into recession.
And I also haven’t mentioned the growing state-level threats from all over the country.
Ultimately, stopping our country’s headlong rush into tyranny depends on restoring respect for constitutional principles among our politicians in Washington, D.C.
The good news is, our Liberty Movement is rapidly growing.
In fact, our Liberty Movement – described sometimes as the Tea Party – was the ONLY bright spot the National Republican Party could point to after the 2012 elections.
And the statists know the sky could be the limit for you and me in 2014.
Politicians listen most closely to messages when they’re sent by the ballot box.
So I believe 2014 will prove to be an absolutely critical year for our R3VOLUTION.
But for many of the same reasons I fear an IRS backlash based on all of C4L’s success, I’m worried you and I could see an assault from the FEC, as well.
They want me to stop telling the American people where their candidates stand on the critical issues facing our country.
And they may just succeed – but it won’t be with legal threats and harassment.
Right now is when you and I must work hard to lay the groundwork for success in 2014, or else our Liberty Movement could fall flat on its face. It simply cannot be just “put off.”
With all the fights C4L has taken on, I’m afraid 2014 could already be a lost cause unless I can raise money quickly to ensure success.
So if you think setting the stage for success in 2014 should be C4L’s top priority over these next several months, please mark “OPTION 3: WIN IN 2014!” on your Membership Directive.
Of course, there is one more option. Truthfully, it’s the option Dr. Paul and I are hoping and praying you’ll choose.
That’s “OPTION #4: FIGHT AND WIN EVERYWHERE!”
Don’t back down. Don’t leave anything to chance. FIGHT.
But Julian, if that’s the option you choose, please realize just how serious this is.
Without a massive influx of funds, there’s simply no way Campaign for Liberty can do everything that must be done.

I know that’s a tremendous amount to ask.
If our backs weren’t against the wall, I wouldn’t even consider it.
